The governance of the IIEG relies on three complementary bodies ensuring the strategic direction, scientific excellence, and analytical rigor of the Institute.
La structure de direction de l'IIEG repose sur une synergie rigoureuse entre vision exécutive, vigilance prospective et validation scientifique par les pairs.
The Board of Directors is the governance body that ensures the vision, stability, and development of the Institute. It defines strategic directions, oversees the sound conduct of activities, and ensures alignment between IIEG's strategic ambitions, values, and public interest impact. It is composed of Bureau members, Vice-Presidents, and the Chairs of the Strategic Orientation Committee and the Scientific Council, providing a balanced governance combining executive, scientific, and strategic dimensions.
The Strategic Orientation Committee (C.O.S.) gathers international leaders from economic, industrial, and diplomatic spheres to provide the Institute with a strategic vision of major geopolitical and geo-economic transformations. In close coordination with the Scientific Council, it bridges academic research with field realities, contributing to the development of strategic, operational, and high-impact recommendations.
The Scientific Council brings together high-level experts, researchers, and practitioners to ensure academic excellence, intellectual rigor, and research independence. It guides research priorities, oversees the scientific quality of publications and analyses, and enriches IIEG's deliberations through a multidisciplinary and international approach. As a key forum for scientific dialogue and vigilance, it makes the Institute a hub for expertise, reflection, and foresight serving the understanding of major geopolitical, geo-economic, and societal challenges.
