Othman Mandour

Educated in Statistics, Economics and Finance at University College London (UCL) and Durham University, Othman Mandour has developed expertise at the intersection of quantitative analysis, finance and geopolitics.

Following an initial experience in financial markets in London, he pursued his career in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). He currently works as a Senior Financial Analyst, specializing in strategy and international development. His professional experience has notably involved African markets and strategic issues related to the telecommunications sector.

His work focuses primarily on the geoeconomics of the Middle East–Africa axis, with particular attention to infrastructure, technology, value chains, standards and financing mechanisms as instruments of power and influence in international relations.

Initially an Associate Expert at the International Institute for Geopolitical Studies (IIEG), Othman Mandour now serves as Secretary in charge of coordinating the Institute’s Divisions, contributing to greater cross-functional cooperation and coordination across the IIEG’s various fields of expertise.
